about

The diptych “Flaveola” and “Vermelho Folha” is the second release by instrumental quintet The Big Odd.

“Flaveola” stems from a collaboration between the band and clarinetist/composer Joana Queiroz, who brought a Brazilian touch to the band’s post-rock progressive music, recording clarinets and flutes, and proposing a new arrangement with a fresh and surprising feel.
